This sounds super odd. You can still share the study with Rachel so that she can check for you. There's also a possibility that your computer may have timing issues - some AMD-based computers and laptops may do that, if drivers are not properly installed. Did you acquire a new computer recently? If you can test your study on multiple computers, do they all behave the same way like this?
On our end, the duration feature has always been working as expected. We have a variety of Macs and PCs and they all behave the same.
