FAQ #5 - Allow Past Dropouts of a Study to Retry
Posted by: Rachel - Participant Affairs - 10-26-2020, 01:42 PM - Forum: Study Grammar & Management - Replies (2)

FindingFive doesn’t allow people to retry a study, but in some cases, participants need to be able to re-take a study even if they had a hiccup or quit half way the first time (e.g., if participating for course credit). How can researchers set up another session so that these participants can retake the study?

FAQ #1 - Removing Default Instructions
Posted by: Rachel - Participant Affairs - 10-23-2020, 01:25 PM - Forum: Study Grammar & Management - Replies (1)

I have some trials that I want to have 'choice' responses. I would like to avoid the automatic 'please choose the response you think is most likely' above the choice buttons. Is there a way to remove this?

  Self-paced reading
Posted by: Hyeonah - 09-21-2020, 07:44 PM - Forum: Experimental Design - No Replies

Dear researchers,
Hi! My name is Hyeonah, a second-year PhD at the University of Arizona.
I'm interested in conducting a self-paced reading study in Findingfive with a comparatively long story (about 2200words).
For those researchers who have already conducted a self-paced reading study in Findingfive, I'd appreciate it if you could give me any comments or suggestions (e.g., any technical issues that you have noticed in conducting a self-paced reading in Findingfive, to what extent the text should be divided).
Thanks!
