FAQ #1 - Removing Default Instructions - Rachel - Participant Affairs - 10-23-2020

I have some trials that I want to have 'choice' responses. I would like to avoid the automatic 'please choose the response you think is most likely' above the choice buttons. Is there a way to remove this?

Yes! To remove a default instruction from a visible response, include the property instruction in your response definition and set it to empty quotes like so: "instruction":"". If you want to set a custom instruction instead, you can also do so with the instruction property by including "instruction": "your instruction here".
