require participants to wait to respond
#1
Hello,
In my study participants see a sequence of letters and need to respond 'yes' or 'no' as to whether that sequence was correct or not.
Currently, itĀ seems that they can respond without waiting to see the entire sequence. Is there a way to limit response options until the end of the sequence?

Hi there,
Absolutely! You can delay the appearance of the response options. Add the delay property to your responses and the options won't appear until after the time you specified.

delay (optional) - delay the displaying of a response, relative to the latest onset of all stimuli on a given trial, by a certain number of seconds (fractions are supported). Default (or omission) is 0. This setting can be useful for forcing participants to read some text before making a response.

Hi Grace, thanks so much! I missed that in the grammar reference.
