Limiting audio replays
#1
Hello!
I'm trying to limit the number of audio replays for participants. I want them to be able to replay the audio only once. How can I implement this? I looked through the Study Grammar but unfortunately wasn’t able to find anything.
Thank you for your help!

Hi this may not be possible at this moment. Sorry!

We can add this feature, but our grammar development cycle means it won't be added until at least 3 months from now. What's your timeline like?

Hi Ting!

Thanks for your prompt response. We actually need to launch the study soon, but it’s great to know that the feature is in the works!

You are most welcome. We'll add this to our to-do list!

Hi Ting!

A follow up question:

I wonder if there’s a way to mimic a ‘replay only once’ function. For example, I could insert a button press on the trial slide, and when the button is pressed, a stimulus plays — the same one as the current trial’s stimulus. Or, I could have one button labeled ‘Replay’ and another labeled ‘Continue’; if the participant wants to hear the stimulus again, they can click ‘Replay,’ but only once.

Do you have any ideas on how to implement this?

Thanks!
