How do you prevent participants to proceed without providing a text response?

Hello Everyone,
I want to prevent participants to proceed without giving a text response. For example, in the interface, the participant sees the questions, and there is the text box below to write down the response. Then, I don't want participants to proceed to leave the text box blank without writing anything down. How can I code this?
