Playback of recorded audio files
#1
I have recorded audio files as a part of my experiment. I am now trying to listen to the .ogg files on my computer. Some of the files can be opened by normal audio players. However, some of the files are not opening with any audio player. I get an error saying that the file type or codec is not supported. What can we do about that? Thank you!

This may be due to slight encoding difference between Firefox and Chrome. On some versions of Mac OS in particular, lacking some libraries may result in not being able to play files encoded by one of the browsers. If you Google "ogg on mac os", there are resources for dealing with situations like this. For example: https://mireth.com/resources/resources-d...t-ogg-mac/

Also, barring recording issues from participants' end, using a professional audio processing software program is the best bet. We recommend Audacity which is free: https://www.audacityteam.org/
