Hide progress bar - [email protected] - 11-18-2020

Hi,

Would it be possible to hide the progress bar for the participants? I found it quite misleading. The progress bar seems like there is still a long way to go but actually it's one more click to finish the experiment. Thank you!

Best,
Zoe

Hi Zoe,

No, there's no way to hide the progress bar. The progress bar is calculated based on both the number of blocks and the number of trials within each block. In your case, it sounds like you have a block of only 1 trial at the end? If that's the case, you can try putting that trial in the "end_trials" of the preceding block to minimize the jumpiness of the progress bar.

In our experience, although the progress bar is not perfectly reflecting the progress of a study, almost all participants find its presence helpful.
